Leather care
Leather is alive. With a few habits your strap stays beautiful for a long time – and develops its own patina.
- Step 1: Avoid water: take leather straps off before showering, swimming or washing up.
- Step 2: Let damp leather dry in the air – never on a radiator or in the sun.
- Step 3: Don’t wear it too tight: one finger should fit between strap and wrist.
- Step 4: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; let perfume and creams absorb first.
- Step 5: Rotate straps: two straps worn in turn last much longer than one worn every day.
Tip For sport and water, a silicone strap such as the GM40 is the better choice.
